“Bullying Revelations, Fraud Victim” Former Female Idol Shares Unfortunate Life Update, “Diagnosed with Cancer”

On January 20, former AOA member Kwon Mina published on Instagram about an unfortunate life update. In particular, shared the condition of her dog, saying, “A lump developed on her leg several years ago and she had several surgeries, but it kept recurring, so when I went to see her this time, she was diagnosed with malignant cancer.”
She continued, “The pain will get worse and the dog will be in a lot of pain, so the doctor told me to prepare myself to let her go now.”
While saying this, she added, “Today, I can’t stop crying even more and my heart is breaking,” and “Because of the pain, I’m looking into anesthesia, euthanasia, and a funeral so that she (the dog) can go comfortably.”
Meanwhile, previously on January 15, Kwon Mina announced through SNS that she had recently earned two certifications and would soon start working as a consulting room director at a dermatology clinic. She expressed her excitement and anticipation about pursuing a long-held dream.
The clinic, where she will be working, is set to open in March and is located within 300 meters of City Hall Station.

She highlighted that the clinic is equipped with the latest cutting-edge equipment and encouraged potential clients to visit. Kwon Mina promised to provide the best possible benefits, services and discounts, emphasizing that she would not recommend unnecessary or overly expensive treatments but would focus on personalized consultations tailored to each client’s needs.
She added “There are about one month and 20 days left [until the opening]. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me“, expressing her willingness to communicate actively.
Kwon Mina debuted as a member of AOA in 2012 but left the group in 2019.
She later revealed that she had been bullied by then-leader Jimin during her time in the group, a claim that caused significant controversy. Following her allegations, Jimin left AOA, and the group effectively disbanded.

Kwon Mina is determined to succeed in her new role and asked for continued interest and support for her new venture.
Netizens have shared congratulatory messages, such as, “Congratulations! I’ll do my best in life too. I’ll visit someday” and “Wishing you all the best in your new start.”
